Working together is about breaking down boundaries. It is about bringing people together to share our challenges and, most importantly, what we do best to reduce suicide deaths and suicidal behaviours, and to support the bereaved.
This pan-Canadian conference, jointly organized by the Canadian Association for Suicide Prevention (CASP), the Centre for Research and Intervention on Suicide, Ethical Issues and End-of-Life Practices (CRISE-UQAM) and the Association québécoise de prévention du suicide (AQPS), will showcase the most current knowledge and practices in the broad field of suicide and its prevention. It will provide forums and spaces for exchange to which stakeholders, clinicians, researchers, project managers and citizens — including people affected by suicide — are invited to the many forums and sharing spaces the conference will create.
The event will bring together the 31st Annual CASP Conference and the Grand Forum on Suicide Prevention that AQPS organizes every two years.
